An exciting tool that SōtirIS utilizes in assisting with knowledge management is xRM, the next generation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management). These systems allow you to efficiently keep track of anything from customers, clients and vendors to employees, members, event attendees and associated information across an entire organization. One benefit of implementing an xRM system is that it provides an organization with a centralized, easy to access repository of company information. xRM systems also provide the ability to track e-mail messages, create custom workflows to automate processes and increase productivity, sift through information easily by creating custom "advanced finds". Another powerful feature of a xRM system is the ability to create a knowledge base in the system and share information quickly and efficiently across the organization.
When SōtirIS engages in an xRM project our certified and professional team sits down with members of the organization and talks with them. SōtirIS feels it is imperative to get an understanding of that client's business processes, workflows, and the information and data that is important to them. Once we have a grasp on the client's current practices, we take that information back to our office and start working on a design. Throughout the planning and layout process we work closely with the client to get feedback and get them acclimated to the design. After we have the architecture in place, SōtirIS works to create workflows, reports, and additional customizations to help streamline information sharing and increase efficiency.
